What a hectic week! I’m backing up a week to get Brent+Brandi a little taste of their wedding images. So here we go…

And one more. Here’s the future of wedding photography. See the backup camera under her arm?

Just a few from Bill and Kathleen’s wedding this past Saturday. It was a great wedding. Bill and Kathleen aren’t your typical 20something’s getting married. Both are successful in their careers, and have waited for the right person to come along. God brought these two together in His time, and they fit together perfectly. Kathleen’s Father, William, passed away a few weeks ago, and Bill stepped in to walk Kathleen’s Mother Alice down the aisle to her seat. It was a fine touch for him to do that. Oh, and you’ll see a fine 1912 Model “T” too.
Bill and Kathleen, I hope you have a great time on your honeymoon, and here a few images from your wedding!

My friend Tom, when asked “How are you?” will always answer “Better than I deserve!”. It’s because he understands the grace and mercy God has extended to him, and to all of us.
Tuesday morning I had some water damage in my studio. It took out 4 rooms worth of floor, caused a huge mess, and basically canceled my plans for the day, which were incidentally, to photograph 3 week old baby Khloe, and then go play in a golf tournament that my buddy Al had invited me to. I needed a break. The tourney was sponsored, and at no cost to me. We all know free golf is the best golf. Well, that was out. I called and rescheduled Khloe’s portraits, and called Al to tell him I’d not be able to make the tourney.
I had insurance to handle, studio appointments to reschedule, the piping to get repaired, and ServiceMaster coming to clean and remove damage. Frankly, it was about all I could handle. Then, my wife Allyson called. She said she was coming home, and would work from home that day. She said I was to go play golf, and let her handle the repair people, cleaning people, etc. i was floored. She knew I needed some relief, and extended her grace and mercy to me. She is the best wife I think I could ever have asked for, and she is absolutely, positively,…
“Better than I deserve!”
I love you Allyson!
