Leah, her hat, & Sheila.

When seniors come I always tell them to bring anything that will help personalize their session. Leah brought her hat, her puppy Sheila, and a great attitude… She was a blast to work with. I might invite her back in January when I start working on next years look.

What a feast!

Wow. I can’t believe I ate the whole thing. Extra food! My Mom had a cold, my MIL just got over the stomach virus that my FIL now has, along with my BIL Tommy. My other BIL Brant had a cold, and his wife just got over the stomach thing. We all kept our distance from each other today. I didn’t take many pics, but here’s a few.

Andy+Lindsey=Nuts, I mean, er…Love!

We found ourselves at Dick’s creek just outside of Dahlonega. Where there’s water, well, there’s somebody gettin’ wet.

Nelson

I was called by the Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep organization yesterday about Nelson. He is 31 weeks old, and wasn’t going to make it. He was on life support, waiting on some last minute miracle. It didn’t come.

We spent about 30 minutes or so with him and his parents. I can’t imagine the heartbreak they were experiencing. They didn’t speak English, so we couldn’t communicate, but through their pastor I was able to thank them for the privilege of this glimpse into their pain. Without intruding anymore than necessary, I tried to make some images they can have to remember Nelson, and his short time on this earth.

Dave+Jess.

Sarasota may well be the prettiest city I have seen in the US. I have got to get back there on day. This trip, though, was a blur, driving down early Friday, shooting Dave & Jessica’s rehearsal and dinner that night, and the wedding the next day. I had some free time Saturday morning, but spent that changing a flat tire on the Sedona. Sedona, coincidentally, is the second prettiest city I have seen in the US. So…Dave & Jess…

A lot, I know. But you made it! Congrats Dave & Jess!
