Gifts!

Christmas is coming! Christmas is coming!

Hey what about portraits as a gift!? Have I got a deal for you! For every $.75 you purchase in a gift certificate I’ll give you $1.00! So for $75 you could get $100 in a gift certificate! Know any brides? What a great wedding gift! What about that family portrait that you’ve been meaning to make for the last 5 years?
Turner Images gift certificates are great for a gift that will last a lifetime!

A good idea…

A friend from another state mentioned that he provided a complimentary session and 8×10 for anyone with a spouse serving in our armed forces overseas. This is a hard time of year to be seperated, and I’d like to ease that a little by doing the same. If you or someone you know has a spouse serving overseas, let me know. I’d like to do this for them.

2 Years later…

It seems like a few months. Not long.

It was two years! Elleri Carruthers turned one two years ago, but that was when “I was really tiny!”. She was SO funny. I have a couple of studio samples of Elleri’s first birthday, complete with cake, and when she saw them she had a fit! Cute as a button! Here’s Elleri at 3…

But this time we were here for her sister Adelyn’s first birthday. We had the topper from her birth cake that Keri & Brendon had saved for this very session. What an absolute cutie! She really favors her sister…take a look…

Chelsea…

So Chelsea Thoms. Yeah that’s the one. THE Chelsea Thoms. What? You don’t know who she is? Well, her Dad and I went to Headland High School in East Point, although he was a couple of years ahead of me. Isn’t it amazing sometimes who you have things in common with, if you’ll just talk to people? So anyway…here’s Chelsea!

A lot of people, a lot of sun, a little time…

This afternoon Chris and I are going to be photographing the bands participating in the LaFayette Marching Classic. This is the 4th year I have done this event, and every year the challenges are the same…Large groups of up to 200 or so band members, getting them into a group on the amphitheater seating area, shooting into the setting sun later in the day. We will have about 15 minutes per group. Go! Go! Go! Hurry up! I usually don’t have a voice left after this from having to yell instructions to that large of a group. Every year I think, “I need a megaphone.” We’ll do 5-8 images of the band in order, sitting at attention, and then the last 3 are “Fun Band”. I give them 5 seconds to do whatever they want, and then take the image. These are the most popular images we do. I’ll post some next week.

Ya’ll have a great weekend! I am!
